Olivia was drawn to acupuncture after experiencing the benefits of acupuncture treatment first hand. It presented a unique, holistic approach to healthcare that she didn't know existed. This encouraged her to further investigate the theory of Chinese Medicine, and eventually enroll in the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in Chicago.
Olivia became interested in community acupuncture after traveling to Beijing and observing the way acupuncture is practiced in China. She was inspired by the sense of healing created by many people of all ages and backgrounds joined together in a single room during their treatments. She was also impressed that acupuncture was affordable for everyone.
Olivia believes that it is imperative to incorporate these concepts into her practice in Milwaukee. She is excited to be part of the growing community acupuncture movement in the US, which is making acupuncture more widely available to everyone.
